How do i get an early pregnancy scan?
If you got pregnant straight after no period in between like I did they will give you an early scan to date the pregnancy seeing as they have no LMP date to go by. If you have had a period i doubt they will give you a scan until you are 11-13 weeks for the nuchal scan UNLESS you experience bleeding or spotting. I was given a dating scan at 6 weeks due to getting pregnant immediately after a m/c and then i had 2 more due to spotting at 7 and 8 weeks and then i even paid for a private scan at 9 weeks 5 days as my symptoms disappeared and i was freaking out but it turnt out to be ok and im now 11 weeks 4 days. If you live in London St.Georges hospital in Tooting do free reassurance scans daily from about 8.30-11 or 12 pm otherwise you can request one from your doctor is they say no then you’ll probably have to pay for a private scan.
