Remove the clear, plastic cap from the end of the ACCU-CHEK Softclix Lancet Device. The ACCU-CHEK Softclix Lancet Device has a special clear plastic cap designed for Alternate Site Testing. Note: Do not use the clear cap when testing at the fingertip. Insert an ACCU-CHEK Softclix Lancet into the lancet holder until it snaps into place.
