How do I get admitted to the Seidman College of Business?
You may be admitted to the Seidman College of Business as soon as you meet the two Seidman admissions criteria, which are 55 or more earned hours (this gives you junior status), and a 2.75 or higher grade point average (gpa). All eligible students are admitted. As soon as you meet both criteria, contact the Seidman Undergraduate Student Services office by phone at (616) 331-7500, or by email at go2gvbiz@gvsu.edu to declare your business major. Within two to three days, your major will be updated on the computer system. Within a week, you will receive a letter from your newly appointed faculty mentor. If you are a transfer or guest student, please click the appropriate link. If you are an incoming freshmen with a 3.5 higher high school GPA and a 26 or higher composite ACT, you will be invited to join the Seidman College of Business as a freshman.
