How do i get a tattoo/body piercing apprenticeship?
The easiest (though not easy) and best way to learn these skills is to get an apprenticeship with an excellent artist. To get one of these, become familiar with the local shops you would be interested in working for. It helps to pay them visits, be social and let them know that you’re interested in ANY opportunities that they may have. The friendlier, more knowledgable, and generally employable you are, the more likely a shop is to take an interest in you. Keep in mind that you would be representing their business, so behave in an appropriate manner while you’re there talking to them. It may take a few visits (it helps to become a customer or at least friendly enough to hang out occasionally) to charm the artist(s) in question. Just keep them aware that you’re looking and check in. Most classes are not going to give you the comprehensive experience that you would need to actually practice piercing or tattooing on your own (unless they are more extensive than any I am aware of). Both of
