i dont think you should get a swan they r reely mean… but i dont think u can have one as a pet anyway, just visit them at ponds and stuff…

having a swan as a pet would be hard, b/c they like to be in groups…so you would really have to get a group of swans so that your swans will be happy. really you could just go to the park a lot and feed them and spend a lot of time with them, and they would get used to you and then they would be like your pets.

They “love” you because you feed them. You can’t realistically keep a swan as a pet it would need a large pond to swim on, sacks of swan/duck food which is expensive and also they crap a lot, I mean a lot, really messy just like geese – yuk.

You really dont wont a swan as a pet. Swan and Canada geese are friendly until breeding age (about 3 years old), then they get mean. Our Black Swan male attacks us every day when we feed him and his mate, it doesn’t matter if the have young or not.
