How do i get a new license plate….mine fell off somewhere?
hmmm i wonder how it fell off, hope it wasn’t left at the scene of the accident saturday night, but since you have 2 plates since you said the front one fell off, i’d go to the DMV or wherever in you state you go to get license plates, im sure all you’d need is the registration and the person that the truck is registered to, some states its the DMV but in my state where i am its a separate place you go for license plates, registration and dela with titles changes, but most states you go to the DMV
In California: The DMV or AAA Auto CLub have plates for replacement. If you report it stolen, you will need a police report number. It’s easiest to report it lost. It costs $18 and you need to show your drivers license. Fill out form REG 156 Application for replacement plates and stickers. You can’t just get one. They come in pairs. So turn in the back one so the DMV can destroy it. (you don’t want it to wind up on a stolen vehicle.) They take cash or check.
