How do I get a new I-20 to return to Penn State to complete my undergraduate degree after a leave of absence?

If you had applied for an official leave of absence to return in a future semester, email DISA-Adviser@ip.psu.edu about 4 to 5 months in advance to inform the adviser that you are on a leave of absence and wish to return. You must return on the date for the approved leave of absence; otherwise, you need to apply for re-enrollment (see below). You will need to provide a new financial guarantee and provide an address where the new I-20 should be mailed. If the adviser determines you are on an official leave of absence, the new I-20 will be issued assuming the financial guarantee meets the requirements. If you did not apply for an official leave of absence before leaving, you must apply for “re-enrollment” through the Registrar’s office using the Re-Enrollment Form (note that there is a $20 fee). Once approved, you need to email DISA-Adviser@ip.psu.edu to inform the advisers that you have been approved for re-enrollment and need a new I-20. You will need to send a new financial guarantee
