How do I get a new eCoE to extend my visa?

• You must submit an application for visa extension before your current visa expires (in order to comply with Australian visa regulations). • Visa extensions are subject to approval by DIAC. To extend your visa, first obtain a new eCOE by filling in a Visa Extension/Amendment form, also available from UNSW Student Central, located in the Chancellery building. The form needs to be certified by your Program or Faculty Authority before you submit it. • DIAC requires students to make an appointment to lodge their visa extension approximately 1 month prior to their current visa expiry date. Research Students: You need to complete the Visa Amendment/Extension Request Form (pdf). The form must be certified by your program or faculty authority. Please Note: Extensions can only be approved in limited circumstances. Please submit documented evidence with your application. For further information please contact the Graduate Research School.
