Free tickets to see the popular vampire movie “New Moon” were given away to those brave enough to donate blood. The United Blood Service teamed up with Carmike cinemas. Anyone who gave blood got a free ticket to the vampire movie “New Moon.” “Around Halloween we say “let’s put the vampires out of business,” and this kinda goes along with vampires, this movie. They kinda thrive off blood and so do we and so do our area hospitals. So we’re trying to go out there and save some lives and let people enjoy a great movie,” said Danny Cervantes with the United Blood Service. Danny Kincy gave blood so his daughter could get a free ticket to the movie. “You’re helping somebody by donating blood, and you’re getting a reward for just going to a movie.
