How do i get a drivers license, get into drivers ed, and get a permit?
I’m answering for the USA only, btw. 1. Get a permit first. Visit your local DMV office. You take a short test, and if you answer enough questions correctly, you’ll get a permit. If you fail, they have books that go over all of the information on the test. You can pick one up before taking the test to study if you want to be sure to pass on your first try. 2. You can hire a driver’s ed teacher. They help someone with a permit learn how to drive a car. Alternatively, you can get a friend or family member to teach you. With a permit, you cannot drive a car alone! You have to have someone with a valid driver’s license in the front passenger’s seat. There are schools where a group of people with permits get instruction, and then get taken out on the road. 3. Schedule a test with the DMV to get your license. They will have someone get into the passenger’s seat and give you instructions while you drive, and rate you on how well you do. If you pass, you get your license.
