How do I get a Criminal Information Check / Security Clearance?
For a Police Information Check, also known as a Security Clearance, you must bring identification and payment in person to the Police Administrative Building, 316 – 7 Ave. S.E., Calgary, AB. The office is open during the following times: Monday to Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on weekends and Statutory Holidays The cost is $30 and payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Interac or cash. You must bring with you two pieces of government-issued identification. One must have a photo (i.e. driver’s license, passport, citizenship card). The other can be one of the following: Social Insurance Card, healthcare card, birth certificate.
