How do I gain admission into Business Management Studies, and is overseas admission different?
All local students (domestic and international) must write BCIT’s COMM 0009 – Communication Placement examination and earn a placement at the COMM 0071 level or higher. If you place at the COMM 0004 or 0005 level, you will be able to enter the BMS Program at level 2, reducing your time in the program. All overseas students will need to apply with a recognized English assessment score of TOEFL 183+ CBT, TOEFL 513+ paper-based, 65 IBT or IELTS overall academic score of 5.0. Students would then be given provisional acceptance into the program, and would have to write the COMM 0009 examination upon arrival at BCIT on Orientation Day in order to be fully accepted into the program.
