Beginning with SME Server 6.5, the ability to specify another DNS name server in the Server Manager was removed, because of the problems it was causing with end-users. SME is still able to forward name requests, and if you are sure you really need to do this, hereâ€™s how: Determine the IP of the DNS server you want to use. Of course this server must be one that the SME Server can â€™seeâ€™ on the network.
