How do I format my PC with Vista, to go back to XP?

You have to buy a copy of Windows XP, insert the CD into the drive, and restart. The laptop should see the CD and boot off of it, giving you the XP installer program. It will help you format your drive. You can’t format a hard drive that already has Windows on it, and even if it would let you it shouldn’t be done that way. Good luck!
