How do I format an APA title page?

0

Organize Necessary InformationThe APA title page must include the title of your paper, your name, your institutional affiliations (i.e., the university you attend or where you work) and the running head for the paper. The running head is the same as the title of the paper.Insert the HeaderIf you are using Microsoft Office, go under the “Insert” tab and choose “Header” from the options. Choose the “Header” option that is flush left with your margins. Type the running head for your paper here in all capital letters. Also, add automatic pagination in the right corner of the header. For APA style, the title page counts as page 1.Add the Rest of the InformationThe title of the paper should be placed in the upper half of the page but not immediately at the top. Like the rest of the non-header text, the title should be centered. Under the title, you should type your full name and below that your institutional affiliation. Standard capitalization rules apply to the page.
