How do I fix the sound on my computer?
Question details: I reinstalled the audio driver for the computer again, but it still doesn’t work. According to the Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices tab, under Hardware, my Microsoft Kernel Audio Splitter, Microsoft Kernel Wave Audio Mixer, and my Microsoft WINMM WDM Audio Compatibility Driver are all missing. Answer: Try one of this possible solutions: 1. Try to install the audio driver again. 2. Reinstall your motherboard drivers. 3. Go to Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices tab, under Hardware, right click on the components with exclamation mark and select update driver. 4. Repair your version of Windows XP.
Go to your control panel and see if it is set properly. Or if you have the sound icon in the lower right bar of your screen it will also bring up the sound adjuster. Also check your speakers and see if they are installed in the back of your computer and the volumn is turned up. Not sure what you mean by a sound card.
