All of the “policy” based errors come from globus-grim. This particular error means that the /etc/grid-security/grim-port-type.xml file has not been properly configured. Each user that can start a job with MMJFS must have a have entry in grim-port-type.xml file. Also, the user that is running the master container must have an entry in the grim-port-type.xml file.
