How Do I Fix Spagetti Sauce That Is Too Sweet?

You can’t actually cut the amount of sugar that’s in there. All you can do is to provide other contrasting tastes that diminish the sweetness. Salt is the best for that; if the sauce isn’t too salty, add some more salt. Other tastes can also fix it: add sour with vinegar or vinegar. Start with a little, a teaspoon or so, because you can actually accomplish a lot without making it taste like vinegar/lemon. Or add pungency with black or red pepper; or add “umami” (the savory taste) with mushrooms, chicken broth, or MSG (Accent food seasoning).
