The CV replacements can be purchased as a CV shaft assembly from a wrecking yard which is the best way to go for a quick fix. I wouldn’t recommend that a novice try the task however because of the numerous steps involved. It is easy to damage or contaminate the lube bearings and protective boot if you don’t know what you are doing. I’d suggest you take your vehicle to a front end shop to determine the actual problem and go from there but plan on paying to have the repair done.
