How do i fit an RS2000 engine in a Mk2 XR2?
easy way is to cut the shafts & re weld (i would get a pro welder if ur not able) & use the XR2 end at the rear & the rs @the fore but make sure you get the length measurement correct (this is tricky but vital) apart to what Peter L about friction welding (which is the best way and should cost about £100) but my mate went to get this done a the firm said because of the base metal on the shafts they would not guarantee the job he got sleeve over the joint but as Peter says dont just mig
