How do I finish IntriG Raised-Panel Wainscot after it’s installed?
Our wainscoting will be shipped pre-primed with a white, lacquer-based primer. After installation, any areas that were sanded or trimmed resulting in exposed MDF, should be primed with quality primer. The entire wainscot should then be lightly sanded with fine-grit to ensure a proper bond for painting. After sanding, wainscoting may be painted with any oil or water based paint. We do not offer a stainable wainscot at this time.
