How do I fine tune other programs to work with Mailfilter?
As always, there are various ways to achieve this. I have chosen the commonly used application fetchmail to explain how this works. (Similar options are available in other mail programs, such as KMail.) Fetchmail is a nifty program that downloads e-mail from POP accounts (it also supports other protocols). Therefore it’s a very tempting idea to use the clean up services of Mailfilter before we’re starting to receive huge amounts of junk in between our normal e-mail messages.
