How do i find out if my computer has a sound card installed?
hi lucy most modern p.c,s have intergrated or onboard audio built into the motherboard as this saves manufactuers money and also the quality of onboard audio is 100% better than it was a few years ago the quickest way to check if you have a dedicated sound card installed is to physically check the back of your p.c if theres a sockets like this(http://www.overclockers.co.nz/ocnz/2004/… this is a onboard sound card however if your audio sockets are further down the bak of your p.c or like this(http://www.csusm.edu/iits/trc/training/i… this is a dedicated or pci sound card however as previously mentioned nearlly all motherboards will have onboard audio,and if your p.c has a dedicated or pci sound card then this would have been disabled from wit
