Family Locator permits you to set up 10 Arrival & Departure Updates. To access the Arrival & Departure Update Wizard, go to the Family Locator website and select the “Updates” tab. Then click on the “Add Update” button. Within the Add Update Wizard, click on the “Add Arrival & Departure Update” button to be guided through the process to add an Update. Using a one mile boundary (options are 1/2, 1 or 2 mile) provides the most reliable notification results. Arrival and Departure Updates send location messages when the person carrying the Locatee cell phone arrives or departs from a Location that you specify.
