The jobs that are posted here are grouped together according to the general type of work that they do into Occupational Groups. You can view these Occupational Groups by scrolling down in the menu. To search by Occupational Group (Career Field), select one or as many as you like from the drop-down Search menu. Each job in the State system has a set pay level with a minimum and maximum monthly salary in one of several pay scales. New hires usually begin at the minimum for the pay level for their job, but some positions pay above the minimum at entry based on special qualifications or demand for experience.
