Or send to do highly specialized technical or administrative work. Those that qualify don’t need to ask… Local Thai companies sometimes hire foreigners for skills Thais don’t have. Usually, that is native English speakers for teaching. Thai law doesn’t make it easy to hire foreigners. There is a minimum salary requirement (much higher for foreigners), a minimum number of Thai employees per foreigner, registered capital requirement and more. Short story: very few jobs are available for a very large group of eager expats.
