How Do I Find A Specific Romper Room Show From 1981-82?
The actual name starting in 1981 became Romper Room and Friends, and there are some 100 episodes, for which there are tapes (because they have been shown in reruns). These were made by WOR tv, later WWOR, which sold to Fox and continues as Station My9 (http://www.my9ny.com/). Hasbro bought this in the 1970s – contact them. “Availability: All 185 episodes of Romper Room and Friends do exist as well as a scattered number of episodes of the pre-1980 syndicated RR in Claster’s library. TVparty.com once said that tapes of Romper Room were erased for next day’s episode. This applies to the local editions of the show.”
