What is the availability of work experience for forensic archaeology in New York City or any across America? Although there are several bulletin boards and news letters that post upcoming jobs, the best way to find information about job openings in any kind of archaeology is to make connections with others who are in your field–in other words, to network. Fortunately, with the Internet it is much easier today to interact with people. I suspect to get a professional job in forensics, you will need an advanced degree (MA or PhD) and you will need to be board certified by the American Board of Forensic Anthropology (ABFA).
