How do i file and printer share Windows Vista and Windows XP?

I had the same problem running a network of Vista and XP computers. Download the free version of Network Magic which contains a 7-day trial of Network Magic Pro at http://www.networkmagic.com/download/ . Then after it is installed open the shared folders tab and share the folders that you want shared. You have to install the program on each computer on your network. As for the printers you have to go into printer properties-Sharing and Share the printer, then go to the other computers and add the printer. You may need updated printer drivers before you do this. If the printers are new, a call to Tech Support would be your best bet, or specify which printers you want to share and to which computers (Vista or XP they are connected, also if the printers are wired or wireless).
