The other colors will be translucent glazes. These will tend to blend in and get lost if you attempt to apply a lighter color over a darker one. Pour your first color glaze into a painting tray. Crumple the square section of drop cloth and dip it into the glaze so that it picks up the color in an irregular pattern.
