How do I extract fixed and variable costs from companys annual report?
Unfortunately, I don’t think you can segregate fixed vs. variable costs from the information reported by public companies. If you are studying a specific company, I suggest you contact them directly and see if they can help you with your project. There may be industry data or analyst reports that can be pieced together with information from the annual report to create some reasonable estimates.
