To save a whole slide: Open the powerpoint presentation and go the slide you want. Select ‘File’ → ‘Save As’ and the change the ‘Save as type’ from ‘Presentation (*.ppt)’ to ‘(*.gif)’ or (*.png) and save. To save an individual slide element: Select the image or background to save and right click, select ‘Save as Picture’ and save it as a GIF or a PNG.
