How do I export my members from Meetup to GroupSpaces?
Meetup doesn’t currently allow organizers to export e-mail addresses, but this is the main way GroupSpaces identifies the members of your group. The best option is to send your members a link to: http://www.groupspaces.com/YourGroupName/join Asking your members for more information when they sign up Bear in mind that it’s possible to request more info from your members on the sign-up form. to find out more about how to do this, see the support page on ‘Editing columns’ So… • Create and customize your group • Copy over your meetup information to pages in your group and your group profile • Invite your members by sending them the link to www.groupspaces.com/yourgroupname/join • Create your next event and add an event box to your group homepage You can also embed a customized registration form on your own website to allow members to sign up directly to your Group.
