Review the government’s chapter overview and find your item on the list. Access the corresponding PDF file listed next to the chapter containing the item you’re importing. Find your 10-digit HTS code to determine your import rate of duty. Reference it within the tariff schedule. Find the item’s country of origin in the first column.
