These are ASCII characters (using the Arial font), and will translate into MC’s font without becoming something weird. Hold down the ALT key while typing in 0176 on the number pad (not the numbers at the top of the keyboard) or ALT+0186. Below are a few symbols and the keys needed: alt + 0176 ° alt + 0186 º alt + 0233 é alt + 0231 ç alt + 0234 ê alt + 0169 © alt + 0174 ® alt + 0153 ™ (that’s TM) alt + 0149 alt + 0188 ¼ (hard to see here, but that’s 1/4) alt + 0189 ½ (that’s 1/2) alt + 0190 ¾ (that’s 3/4) Remember these work for the Arial font with a PC.
