How do I enter the amount of sunlight for my customer’s location (NREL insolation location)?

In the Tool’s “Solar System & Site Variables”, pick the nearest representative location (city) in the input labeled “Closest NREL Insolation Location”. The nearest representative location may not be the nearest location by distance if there are large variations in microclimate. In those cases, pick a (relatively) nearby location that matches the sunlight level and pattern (seasonal cloud patterns, etc). You may need to apply an adjustment using the “Local Micro-Climate / Temperature Adjustment Factor” input to better match the actual performance. See that related question for more details.
