How do I enter strata information into a highway job?
Highway Sections allows only 2 layers. For strata, follow the steps below. • Enter the original ground as usual. • Enter the top of the strata layer as the design layer. • Print the reports to calculate the volume of original ground to get down to the strata layer. • Save the job. • Select Edit, Select and check the box for Select All. • Select Enter, Design Stage. This turns the proposed design (strata information) into the original ground layer. • Select Enter, Add. This puts you into an enter mode for entry of new design information. If you are removing the strata layer, use the bottom of the strata layer as the new design layer. • Select Job, Save As and give this job a new name. • Calculate the volumes for the strata removal. • Use steps 5 and 6 again to stage this job. • Use steps 7 to enter more strata information if applicable, or enter the new design. • Select Job, Save As and give this job a new name also.
