How do I enroll in the on-line class for Lateral Entry Teachers?
EDUC 4553: Essentials of Teaching for Lateral Entry Teachers 1. Apply to the graduate school (252-328-6012) as a non-degree student. A $50.00 fee is required to process your application. You may: a) Fax the application and credit card information (number and expiration date) to 252 328-6071. You can also provide your payment information by phone at (252-328-6012). b) Mail the application and $50.00 fee to the Graduate school You may check your admission status by calling 252-328-6012 or check for your ECU e-mail address that is assigned upon admission. 2. Once you are admitted to the university, contact the Division of Continuing Studies (252-328-1592) to register for the course. They will check to be sure that you are listed as a lateral entry teacher. Your school system should have provided documentation to the Director of Teacher Education regarding your lateral entry status. School systems who have not notified ECU’s College of Education of your lateral entry status can contact the
