How do i enjoy scary video games like Dead Space?
I’m not gonna lie Dead Space is a scary game and I don’t know if I was just excited about playing a scary game or what but the first night I played it I was just all hyped up about it and there were parts where I could hear noises ahead of my character and I was just thinking ‘oh crap there’s no way I’m going to keep going because I know something is gonna jump out, but the next day it didn’t feel as bad. It is a great game but please don’t torture yourself if scary games aren’t your thing, if you are tempted though play the game with the lights on, I know a lot of people that say scary games are meant to be played with the lights off to add effect but it is not necessary, I know I left all the lights on, or maybe have a friend come over and play through it with you maybe they can help make it less scary and more fun. Or if you’re scared of wasting $60 maybe you could rent the game first and see how you feel about it before paying full price.
