How do I enable Visual Transformation Editor to accept End Column values higher than 2000?

Open the file taz.xml in a text editor (MUST be a basic no-frills editor like MS Notepad). The file is located in the directory where Visual Transformation Editor was installed, by default e.g. C:\Program Files\Adobe\TransEdit\. Locate the LinesColumnsMax element in taz.xml. (This is the element that governs the End Column values in the Simple Extractions dialog box.) Change the value of the LinesColumnsMax element from 2000 to the required higher value. The absolute maximum for this value is 10000. If LinesColumnsMax is set greater than 10000, Visual Transformation Editor displays a warning and uses the value of 10000 as the maximum. Save taz.xml. Note:The absolute limit of 10000 for the End Column only applies to Visual Transformation Editor. Transformation Agent does not have the same limitation. If required, the MaxRecordSize setting in the Transformation Agent configuration file can be set to a value above 10000.
