How do I enable or disable network Push on the Palm Treo 650?
Push messages are messages that are sent from the Wireless Sync server to your device and are used to communicate updates in your PIM data (i.e. new email messages, a new meeting request, etc.). By disabling network Push, these messages are no longer received to your device and you will need to initiate a manual Wireless Sync to synchronize your PIM data. Follow these steps: • Press the Applications Launcher (the house) key until the word All appears in the upper-right corner of the display screen. • Scroll to and select Wireless Sync. • Press the Menu key. • From the menu bar (located along the top of the display), select Setup and tap Push/ReadySync. • To enable network Push, tap the box labeled Enable push (a check mark will appear in the box). This feature may be disabled by removing the check mark. • Press the Applications Launcher (the house) key to return to the home screen.
