All versions 3.0 and higher of the Microsoft Internet Explorer© web browser support Javascript. The Javascript functionality in Internet Explorer© is known as “Active Scripting” and is enabled by default in later versions. To make sure the Javascript functionality is enabled, perform the following steps (IE 5.5): 1. Left click Start 2. Go up to Settings, open Control Panel 3. Double click Internet Options icon 4. Left click Security tab. Make sure the Internet icon (with a globe) is highlighted 5. Left click the Custom Level button down near the bottom 6. Scroll down to the Scripting section 7. Under Active Scripting, you should see it as Enable. If not, left click on Enable 8. When the warning box Are you sure you want….? pops up, press OK 9.
