The method for activating Digital Image Stabilization on the SP-510 UZ varies depending on the shooting mode and the CUSTOM BUTTON setting. In the camera’s default configuration, CUSTOM BUTTON is set to DIS MODE. When this is the case, the easiest way to enable Digital Image Stabilization is to do the following: • Turn the mode dial to AUTO, P, or SCN. • Press the Image Stabilization button (shaky hand icon), located on the top of the camera, to the left of the mode dial. • Using the Up or Down arrow on the arrow pad, select ON. • Press the OK/FUNC button to activate the setting. It is also possible to enable Digital Image Stabilization by doing the following: • Turn the mode dial to GUIDE. • Using the arrow pad, scroll to Reducing blur. • Press the Right Arrow to advance to the next screen. Set to (shaky hand icon) mode is highlighted by default. • Press the Right Arrow again, or simply press OK/FUNC to activate the setting. When the mode dial is set to P, A/S, M, or SCN, the Image St
