How do I e-mail my database backup to DynaSCAPE support?
E-mailing your database to DynaSCAPE, when requested, gives our staff an opportunity to replicate your working environment. It helps our staff explain anomalies, pinpoint problems, or make suggestions that readily understandable. To send us your database, follow the steps below: • Backup your database (see the How do I backup… FAQ for instructions) For Windows XP users: • Right-Click the .bak file that corresponds with your most recent backup • Select Send To | Compressed (zipped) folder (By sending your backup file to a zipped folder, Windows compresses your database into a more manageable size. Zipped databases are much faster to send via e-mail.) • Windows will compress the backup file and will soon add another folder to your current directory.
