How do I draw an enhanced ER Diagram (i.e., one with subtypes) in Oracle?
Response: Unfortunately, you cannot draw the diagram exactly the way it was discussed in the book or in class. However, in class I mentioned that an enhanced ER diagram with subtypes translates into Oracle by connecting the subtypes to the supertype using 1:1 relationships. In most cases, the relationship with be optional for the subtype and mandatory for the supertype.
