How Do I Download Yahoos Norton Antivirus vis-a-vis Yahoo Protection?
I have Yahoo! Online Protection (including Anti-Virus and Spyware plus more) as part of my ATT/Yahoo Internet connectivity package. I am getting a message to upgrade my Anti-Virus to Norton Antivirus (the message is from Yahoo and the software is on Yahoo’s site). BUT… the install verbiage says that I should UNINSTALL all current Antivirus programs prior to install, else my computer may mess up. Has anyone gone through this process? I would think that if Yahoo! is inviting the upgrade that their install process would handle “everything” but I don’t want to assume anything. Am I better off ignoring the upgrade opportunity, or, if not, how should I proceed? I don’t know how to uninstall Yahoo! Online Protection – especially without uninstalling the entire package (Email Protection, Pop Up Blocker, etc.), which I want to keep.
