How do I download the ISFOC fonts and make them resident for Windows?
A. The ISFOC fonts for Windows come in the ATM PostScript Type-1 format. They can be downloaded only to a PostScript printer or an imagesetter. Use the PSDNLOAD utility which is there in your ISM directory. Example : PSDNLOAD -v RMTM0NPS.PFB. You can find the ISFOC PFB files in your \PSFONTS directory (Check WINDOWS\ATM.INI). After downloading the fonts, the WINDOWS\WIN.INI file has to be modified to mark that you have downloaded certain fonts and are resident in the printer. Open WIN.INI in any ASCII editor and in the [PostScript,XXXX] section, where XXXX stands for the output destination, e.g. [PostScript,LPT1], if your PostScript printer is connected to LPT1, remove the PFB entry. For example, modify softfont 144=M:\PSFONTS\PFM\RMTM0NPS.PFM,M: \PSFONTS\RMTM0NPS.PFB to softfont144=M:\PSFONTS\PFM\RMTM0NPS.PFM This will work till your printer is on.
