This Microsoft procedure may help you Download the Windows installer cleanup utility When downloaded Start Programs Search Windows install cleanup Highlight all shock that is there Click remove Reinstall the software

I use windows 7 and IE 8 I can’t download since the shockwave does not support the platform. But I don’t know about vista it should support it. Try using website compatibility option on IE 8.
