How do I download LockDown Browser on my computer?
LockDown Browser has been integrated as a Power Link into eLearning. Instructors who set up a course in eLearning (Blackboard Vista) can choose to use LDB that allows their students to take a quiz/test. As a student, once you log in eLearning and click on the quiz that is set up to use LDB, you will see the screen capture as below: To complete a quiz/test you must download LDB first. Once you click on “Download Information” at which the green arrow points, you will be taken to the LDB Download page. Click on the logo of the operating system that you have on your computer and start to download LDB following the steps you will be prompted. You should find the LDB icon appearing on your desktop after the download is finished. To access LDB you must close all applications that are running on your computer. Remember LDB is much like a standard browser. When you open it, you should be able to see the main page of the eLearning site and you log on with your NetID and password.
