How Do I Download Area Code Lists from the “Do Not Call” web site?
• Go to http://telemarketing.donotcall.gov • Click the link on the left that says “Download Phone Numbers” • Fill in the ID and Password that you were given when you registered. Use the Organization ID and the Download password. Make sure the button that says “Downloader” is checked off under the UID/PWD fields. • On the next page, click the “Download Full List” link. • Leave the “Flat Text File” format selected (it will be selected by default) • Agree to the “Certfy Compliance” section • Click “Begin” at the bottom of the page. • You are brought to a page with a link for each area code you previously subscribed to. Click the first area code in the list. You will be prompted to open or save it. Choose “Save” and you will be prompted to choose a location to save the file to. Make sure you remember where you save it (My Documents, etc). • Once the “save” completes, you can choose “Close” on the download status dialogue box. Repeat this process for each area code you have subscribed to.
